How are shipping charges and delivery times calculated?
Shipping is free! Orders generally ship within three to five business days after you place your order, with total delivery time depending on the distance from our warehouse in Miami, FL, to the destination specified in your order. You can find our full Shipping + Delivery policy here.
Do you charge sales tax?
Currently, we only collect sales tax on orders delivered in Florida. However, the laws and regulations regarding sales tax change constantly and we may be required to collect sales tax on orders delivered in other states in the future.
How do you measure your furniture?
Our furniture is hand-crafted in Indonesia, which uses the metric system. When we convert to inches, we do not round up or down to whole inches, but rather provide the dimensions in a fraction of an inch. Also, the long sides of our live edge tables are not straight but follow the natural curve of the tree. This means the width of our tables is an approximate measurement.
Do your items come fully assembled?
All our chairs come fully assembled. Our tables require minimal assembly.
Can I have my items assembled for an additional charge?
Unfortunately, we do not offer the possibility of an assembly upcharge. Do not fret! Assembly is really easy. Just match the letter on a table leg to the corresponding letter on the table (“A” to “A” etc.). Using a rubber mallet, softly but firmly, hammer the leg into place until snug. Do not use a metal hammer and protect the leg with a thick cloth or towel to avoid scratches and damaging the table. Insert and tighten the supplied screws and, voila, you’re done!
How do I take care of my teak furniture?
You have made an investment in a high-quality piece of teak furniture that, with a little love and tender care, will last for generations. Teak products are weather-resistant by nature, requiring little care. Little care, however, does not mean no care. Teak should be cleaned at least yearly to remove dirt and spills should be cleaned immediately. You can wipe your teak furniture clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent, if needed. Never use acidic or bleach-based cleaners as they may damage the surface and deplete teak’s natural oils. Teak left outside untreated will acquire a grey patina. If that is not the look you desire, you should oil your furniture at least twice a year. Covering you furniture in the winter is always a good idea.
Can I change or cancel my order after I’ve placed it?
No, due to our fast handling and fulfillment times, we’re unable to change or cancel your order once it has been placed.
What is your return or exchange policy?
You are ordering an artisanal, one-of-a-kind original piece of furniture that will have shims and patches to improve stability and deal with irregularities. These are not product flaws or defects and are not a reason for a return or exchange. In the rare instances where you receive the wrong product(s) or the product(s) delivered to you is (are) defective or damaged, we offer a limited exchange policy. The correct merchandise received in good condition is not returnable or cancellable. We do not give refunds.
